DETROIT (AP) — Jeep maker Stellantis reached a tentative contract agreement with the United Auto Workers union on Saturday as it escalated strikes against General Motors by adding a plant in Tennessee. The Stellantis deal, which still must be ratified by members, leaves only GM without an agreement with the union. But the union walked out Saturday night at a GM factory in Spring Hill, Tennessee, in an effort to increase pressure on the company to reach a deal. The Stellantis deal mirrors one reached earlier this week with Ford. The union says the contract also saves jobs at a factory in Belvidere, Illinois, that Stellantis had planned to close.GM said it was disappointed with the additional strike at the Spring Hill assembly and propulsion systems plant “in light of the progress we have made.” The company said in a statement that is has bargained in good faith with the union and wants to reach a deal as soon as possible.Spring Hill is GM’s largest manufacturing facility in North Ame...Walk to End Alzheimer's sees huge turnout despite chilly weather

PASADENA, Calif. — Bruce Bailey wore a Prime-worthy, wide-brimmed CU hat. Upon closer examination, he had a black UCLA sweatshirt tucked under his arm. Just in case.“This could be the last UCLA-Colorado game we go to as a family,” Bruce explained, nodding at wife Teri and son Colin as they prepared to enter the Forever Buffs pregame tailgate a few holes away from the Rose Bowl late Saturday afternoon.“I’m so heartbroken to have the Pac-12 break apart.”To paraphrase Coach Prime, Buffs-Bruins was personal — especially for the SoCal locals. UCLA-CU is the last Buffs football game, to date, scheduled in Los Angeles while both are members of the same conference. The Buffs are leaving the Pac-12 for the Big 12 next summer, while the Bruins are joining the Big Ten.The elder Bailey grew up a Bruins fan and sent Colin — who was raised in the L.A. suburb of Chatsworth, Calif. — to CU.“He’s now an official Coloradoan,” Dad said ...Keeler: Broncos LT Garett Bolles bleeds Orange and Blue. Half of Broncos Country can’t stop holding onto 72. Ironic, isn’t it, Garett Bolles?“You know, it’s funny,” Bolles, the Broncos’ first-round draft pick in 2017, told me with a sly grin as we kibitzed about his future. “Because I look back, and everyone said, ‘Oh, you’re never gonna be here. You’re not gonna last long.’ And I’m still here. So I get to laugh a little bit about that.“But at the same time, I’ve just got to keep my head down and I have to go to work. And I have to continue to do the things I love. But this is home. And we’ll see where it goes.”Halloween’s trade deadline is creeping ’round the corner, and Sunday against the Chiefs — the forecast calls for snow and no Taylor Swift — could say a lot. Or nada. Win it somehow, and the Broncos hit the bye 3-5 with a pep in their step. Although they had a similar bounce coming back from London last October, to...Avalanche Journal: Pittsburgh’s “Big Three” a record-setting, standard-bearing trio for Colorado’s stars to emulate

PITTSBURGH — Mikko Rantanen was 12 years old when he saw Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang win the Stanley Cup together for the first time.Nathan MacKinnon’s admiration for Crosby is well documented, but Rantanen was a big fan of No. 87 growing up as well. Cale Makar, like MacKinnon, has had the chance to skate with Crosby and Letang in the offseason.Colorado’s trio of world-class players has an immense amount of respect for Pittsburgh’s ‘Big Three,’ which has now been together for 18 years — the longest continuous stretch for three teammates on any major North American professional sports team.“It’s remarkable,” Rantanen said. “I remember growing up and watching those guys win the first Cup in 2009. So 18 years, that’s a long time. And to be as good as they’ve been, it’s pretty crazy, to be honest. I’m not surprised it’s the first time ever. They’re all top-tier players, which makes it even more special.”Those s...Two lanes of I-70 eastbound reopened after multi-vehicle crash
